Yossi
16.5-year-old Yossi joined the Shitufim program upon his teacher's recommendation. Yossi is a teen with severe ADHD and an extreme lack of self-confidence. In social situations he is easily affected, and finds himself exposed to alcohol consumption and drug use. Yossi is introverted and never shared his experiences with anyone. When he met Ariel – his mentor, it took him time to realize he had a safe space to share and unload. After nearly two years in the process, Yossi is a completely different person, full of confidence and self-esteem. He learned to open up, set boundaries for his friends, and now progresses and succeeds in school.
