Vision

At Ma'agalim we believe that our youth is an imperative part of our national treasure, and are crucial partners in developing a thriving, successful society.

With the army being compulsory in Israel and serving as a vehicle to steward young adults to good citizenship, Ma’agalim’s mission is to empower and inspire at-risk youth to significant army service and help them becoe succesful members of Israeli society.

Our programs are geared towards enhancing the student's abilities, and utilizing their unique skillsets so they can contribute to society and empower themselves. We provide important life and social skills, alongside motivation and empowerment, because we truly believe that by believing in themselves, they can promote a ripple of positive change.

Soldiers who grew up as teens not planning on drafting to elite combat units, ended up changing their mindset, aspirations and plans – all due to their Ma'agalim mentors who empowered them to realize their full potential.

Throughout the years we've witnessed our vision coming to life, with tens of thousands of program graduates who have successfully pursued meaningful careers and social impact projects.

Since its inception 25 years ago, Ma'agalim has transformed the lives of over 40,000 of its graduates countrywide.

Every child has dreams. Every child has potential. Ma’agalim’s mentors simply help them recognize what they have within themselves, regardless of their circumstances at home, so they may achieve everything they imagine.
